Stop-Motion Project

I have been excited for this assignment for the whole semester. In fact, I was so eager to create this video, I finished it before the class even started theirs. We had to base our stop motions on metamorphosis. Mine took 4 hours and 529 pictures.

  1. Taylor, I'm so proud of you! There are so many words that I could use to describe your efforts to make your video: dedicated, inspired, creative, persistent, original... the list goes on & on. Sir Ken Robinson is very interested in people who are "passionate" (http://sirkenrobinson.com), and I believe that this describes you and your willingness to devote so much time & energy to something you love. Yay!

  2. I think your video shows great creative energy, and I loved the moving of the lines, and the puzzle pieces. If you want to move from taking pictures to software, there are more and more either free or cheap stopmotion video programs out there. It makes the process a little bit easier.

  4. And from the proud Principal (!) - Taylor, this is astounding! I love how sharing this has already helped you get both great feedback and suggestions to help you find more tools to help you work in this medium. I think of art as something that enhances our lives and you have certainly enhanced mine. Thank you so much for sharing.

  5. Well done Taylor! Please keep sharing your work! You are creative and imaginative, it would be a waste not to share with the world. You had a vision for this project that you clearly communicated. Congratulations, be proud! What's your next idea?

  6. That was amazing! I can't imagine how patient you must be. The puzzle pieces took so much thought. Everything flowed so nicely from one idea to the next. Great job!
